Indication:
Clinically formulated for oral or tube feeding in hospitalized patients with increased nutritional needs, muscle wasting, or chronic wounds.
Intended Use:
- For: Children aged 1–12 years requiring:
- Post-surgical/trauma recovery.
- Malabsorption (cystic fibrosis, short bowel syndrome).
- Failure to thrive (FTT) or chronic malnutrition.
- Not for: General pediatric use without medical supervision.
Directions for Use:
- Oral: Mix 1 scoop (25g) with 100mL water. Consume 2–3x/day or as directed by a physician.
- Tube Feeding: Flush with 30mL water pre/post administration.
- Do Not Dilute for concentrated feeds (1.5 kcal/mL).
Warnings & Precautions:
- Contraindications:
- Arginine metabolism disorders (e.g., hyperargininemia).
- Severe sepsis or uncontrolled electrolyte imbalances.
- Monitor: Renal/hepatic function in prolonged use.
